Adult Ministry

We truly believe that the goal of Bible study is not just information but transformation as we seek to be formed more fully in the way of Jesus. Toward that end, we offer a variety of adult classes for people of all ages and stages in their faith journey.

Sunday Morning Bible Studies

Adult 1: younger and median-aged adults; meets in the Roberts Building.

Lost but Found: median-aged adults: meets on the 1st floor of the Trinity Building.

Adult 3: adults who are approaching retirement or are retired; meets in the Roberts Building.

The Faith Explorers Class: retired adults; meets in the church parlor.

The Truth Seekers Class: a senior adult women’s class; meets on the 1st floor of the Trinity Building.

In addition to these permanent classes, we also regularly offer occasional, short-term studies. Recent studies have included Following Jesus by Henry Nouwen, What Baptists Believe based on a book by Buddy Shurden, and Making Marriage Last by Adam Hamilton.

Affinity Groups

20 – Somethings: this group exists to create a place of belonging for all young adults–college, early career, searching for where to land, single, married, etc.–all young adults.  In 2023 we have held monthly fellowship gatherings at Mellow Mushroom, playing disc golf, and watching a movie on the church lawn.  In 2024, these montly fellowship gatherings will continue to occur on the 4th Monday evening of each month.

Joy Seekers: organize fellowship outings for our senior adults. The outings are always fun, informative, and enriching experiences that help to form new friendships and solidify long standing relationships, too.

Women in Missions: gathers bi-annually to enjoy fellowship and prepare incredible mission work for the months ahead. The number of agencies they support and lives they impact is immeasurable.

Men’s Ministry: primarily organizes themselves to build wheelchair ramps for those in need. It is a great way to serve others and connect with other men in the church.
